10:00 am - Azim stop by the house to pick up the wedding rings.
12:00 pm - Did my Henna for the solemnization at Masjid Jamek. Cost my ibu RM40. Didn't get the fancy once cause my soon to be husband hates everything 'over the top'. Last minutes shopping with my ibu for her fancy tudung. :)
2:00 pm - Last minutes spa treatment, 'mandi lulur'. Ibu insisted it, two hours passed and skin smell like spices. LOL. Even after I took a shower. BAD MOVE!
The solemnization were supposed to start at 9pm. Since I wanted to perform my magrib prayer before the makeup and the flowers and the tudung and stuff we started everything at 7:40 pm or so. There wasn't enough time, the tudung part took a lil more time than expected. Soooooo... basically I was late. Got to the masjid at 9:30pm. Atok was freaking out the whole time, that was funny cause she nag nag nag all the way about the MUA I hired.
When I got there seeing all my families, my friends, his families and his friends I was expecting some kind of feeling, any kind. I wasn't nervous at all, no butterflies in my tummy, no tears of joy. I just feel ME.
10:00 pm - Alhamdulillah, officially Abdul Azim bin Abdul Nasser wedded wife.
It felt like a game not just to me but for Azim to. We kept asking each other did we really got married and laugh about it. Cause it happened in a blink of an eye all the sudden we're husband and wife. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the best part of every wedding. THE FOOD!! Photo session on our left and right with my friends, his friends. We (my maid of honor a.k.a bestest friend, me a.k.a the bride, Azim a.k.a the groom) ended up at Setiawangsa McDonalds at 12am in my wedding dress. People were staring and whispering and giggling prolly they thought we eloped. LOL. The cashier even took the chance to congratulate us.
Alhamdulillah everything just falls into places. I wasn't like the wedding of the year costing RM100K. But it was perfect. Eventhough Azim forgot to wear his socks, me smelling like spices, we didn't get to eat the good food, there was no cake, we haven't the chance to go on a honeymoon yet but everything was perfect in our memory. I got my perfect dress, my calla lily bouquet (Azim went around KL just to find my bouquet of 12 calla lilies, I LOVE HIM FOR THAT), our friends and family were there and I married my perfect man, my imam, my protector. :) Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah it is a huge blessing.
Some pictures from our official wedding photographer. But to this date (5 months after) we haven't receive our wedding album yet. Starting to get the feeling that they are so unprofessional.
COME ON GUYS DO YOUR JOB. WE PAID YOU!
